Due to the ongoing uncertainty regarding COVID-19 and the associated restrictions to international travel in 2021, the CPISRA International Conference on Physical Activity and Health for People with Cerebral Palsy or Acquired Brain Injury (2021 CPISRA International Conference) is going virtual from 8 -11 December 2021.

CPISRA, Disability Sports Australia, the Cerebral Palsy Foundation and conference partners are enthusiastic that by hosting the conference online we will be able to increase the accessibility to the conference overall, and will have even more engagement and discussions than originally hoped.

The 2021 CPISRA Conference will be the first of its kind. Delegates from around the globe will discuss understanding of cerebral palsy and acquired brain injury, sports science, health and social science, and participation and performance through a combination of keynote lectures, seminars and workshops. This blending of minds will provide a forum of knowledge exchange and enhance interaction between the various experts in the unique, interdisciplinary area of adapted physical activity and sport for individuals with cerebral palsy and acquired brain injury.

The call for abstracts will be opening on Monday, 7 December 2020 and we invite you to consider a submission of a free paper or poster. We invite submissions for research-based papers and posters and also invite sports and health practitioners and organisations to submit abstracts relating to the policy, practical or clinical considerations of physical activity, exercise and sport in individuals with cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury or related conditions. More information can be found at www.cpisraconference.com.

Registrations will open in March 2021. To be kept informed about all conference news and updates, add your name to the Expressions of Interest mailing list here.
