Disability Sports Australia announced as Australian Charity Partner of MATTA

Global sports marketing agency MATTA proudly announces its new partnership with Disability Sports Australia, who become MATTA’s charity partner in Australia.

Disability Sport Australia is a National Sporting Organisation that works tirelessly to improve the lives of Australians living with disability, using the power of sport.

Through national programs such as its flagship Abilities Unleashed multi-sport come and try program and other capability building initiatives such as Sports Incubator and Accessibility Champion, Disability Sports Australia connects Australians to local opportunities, enabling people with disability to be more active more often.

MATTA shares DSA’s strong belief in the power of sport changing lives and is set to kick off the new partnership with a website refresh, providing an accessible user experience with a contemporary design, due to launch in Australia in September 2024.

Disability Sport Australia CEO Ayden Shaw said: “At Disability Sports Australia, we’re acutely aware of the profound impact that sports can have in transforming lives. Our partnerships are carefully chosen to reflect our core values and to ensure they carry significant weight. It’s with genuine enthusiasm that we embrace our role as the Charity Partner of MATTA.

Their belief in the life-changing power of sports resonates with our mission. MATTA’s dedication to raising the global profile of disability sports is a reflection of our own goals, forging a partnership that is not only meaningful but visible."

MATTA Disability Sport Lead Marina Logacheva said: "We are absolutely thrilled to partner with Disability Sport Australia. With this partnership we aim to create greater awareness of disability sports, promote accessibility, and expand opportunities for the disability community in Australia. At MATTA, we passionately believe in the transformative power of sport and its ability to unite, inspire, and empower people. As a wheelchair user and adaptive athlete myself, I have experienced firsthand the profound impact of adaptive sports."
