The 1st July 2020 marks the beginning of the 2020 Village Roadshow Theme Parks Gold Coast Virtual Marathon, which incorporates a Wheelchair Marathon and Wheelchair 15km event.

 The virtual event is open to runners, walkers and wheelies across all six distances – 42.2km (ages 18+), 21.1km (15+), 10km (12+), 5km, 4km Junior Dash (5-14) and 2km Junior Dash (5-14). You can also select one of the race bundles if you’d like to do multiple races e.g. the Gold Coast Big Four is the marathon, half marathon, 10km and 5km and you can compete these races and upload your results anytime throughout July!

The wheelchair entrants can participate in racing wheelchairs or day chairs and since participants plan their own course routes (and no event road closures to manage) there are no cut-off times.
