This document has been created as a guide for how the Disability Sports Australia brand should be used for events, social media, communications, promotions, and other activities. Within the document, correct use of typography, colour and logo usage, both in print and online, can be found.
This document will guide best design standards of practice and is a useful resource to refer to maintain the Disability Sports Australia brand.

Peta Forsyth, a PhD Scholar in Paralympic Sports from the Australian Institute of Sport is conducting research on comparing able-bodied and spinal cord injured athletes during exercise in the heat.
DSA and AFL announce partnership to develop Wheelchair Aussie Rules
The AFL today announced the official partnership with Disability Sport Australia (DSA) to develop Wheelchair Australian Football.
‘Wheelchair Aussie Rules’ was developed to provide all Australian Football enthusiasts with or without a disability with an Australian Football experience that has strong parallels with the traditional game. Based on AFL rules and played on a basketball or netball court, this wheelchair sport is open to anyone to play.
Australia wins bid to host the 2018 IWRF Wheelchair Rugby World Championship
Disability Sports Australia (DSA), the national body representing athletes with a physical disability, has won an international bidding process to host the International Wheelchair Rugby World Championships in Sydney in August 2018.

Assistant Minister for Defence Michael McCormack said the Invictus Games was an international adaptive sports competition for serving and former serving wounded, injured and ill athletes which provided a vital opportunity to support their rehabilitation and recovery.

Media Release - Australian Rugby Union throws support behind Wheelchair Rugby
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - The Australian Rugby Union (ARU) has joined forces with Disability Sports Australia (DSA) in a new partnership to foster and promote the development of Wheelchair Rugby in Australia.

The Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) and the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation (GOLDOC) announced the integrated para-sport program for the 2018 Games today, marking international Commonwealth Day celebrations and this year’s theme of ‘an inclusive Commonwealth’.

Retention of the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission
The Government will provide certainty to the charitable sector and community organisations by today announcing the decision to retain the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).
Minister for Social Services, Christian Porter, and Minister for Small Business and Assistant Treasurer, Kelly O’Dwyer, said the decision followed extensive consultation with the sector on the alternative option of repealing and replacing the ACNC.

Australian Gliders named ahead of 2016 Osaka Cup

Results from the 2015 Multi-Disability Lawn Bowls National Championships
In October 2015, the 2015 Multi-Disability Lawn Bowls National Championships was held at Musgrave Hill Bowls Club, with the support of a grant from the Gold Coast City Council. Many thanks to our Lawn Bowls Committee for all their hard work which ensured the success of the event, and to the Musgrave Hills Bowling Club for a magnificent venue and high quality competition management. The event was held at significantly lower cost to athletes than previous years, and with 38 bowlers competing over a full week of competition.
