The podcast will be hosted by Murray Elbourn, Chief Executive Officer of DSA. Elbourn has a history of his own through lived experience, born with scarring on both corneas and then developing cataracts at age 12. Elbourn was the former captain of the 2002 Australian Goalball Men’s team at the Brazil World Goalball Championships in Rio de Janeiro. He was also the head coach of the 2017 Australian Youth Girls Goalball team (Aussie Glow) who won the World Cup defeating Russia for Australia’s only Goalball World Championship.

Louise was quoted to say, “I’m really excited to tell my story, this is great and I hope it will have an impact for families and people with disability to see the opportunities rather than their disability”.

DSA Chief Executive Officer Murray Elbourn said, “With the buzz of the Tokyo Paralympic Games currently rippling through Australia, this is all about continuing that momentum past the games into the next three-year cycle to inspire all Australians with disabilities to be more active, more often”.
