Press Release – Disability Sports Australia & Bupa

5 April 2025

Disability Sports Australia & Bupa: Empowering Accessibility in Sport

Disability Sports Australia (DSA) is excited to announce that Bupa has renewed its commitment as a Presenting Partner for DSA’s Abilities Unleashed and Accessibility Champion programs. This partnership aims to enhance sport accessibility for individuals with disabilities, addressing the fact that while 75% of people with disability want to play sport, only 25% get the opportunity.

A New Chapter in Accessibility

The refreshed partnership includes:

  • A new logo featuring the shortened ‘DSA’ brand name.
  • A vibrant colour scheme reflecting the energy of the organisation.
  • Updated thematic elements across digital and physical assets.

These updates will be implemented across DSA’s website, social media platforms, and event signage.

Commitment to Empowerment

“Sport has the power to transform lives—and everyone should have the chance to experience that. Through our continued partnership with Bupa, we’re breaking down barriers so more Australians with disability can be active in ways that are meaningful to them.” – Ayden Shaw, CEO of Disability Sports Australia
