Disability Sports Australia’s Impact Report for FY2023-24 has been released

Disability Sports Australia is pleased to present its Impact Report (formerly known as the Annual Report), this document highlights our improvements in enabling people with disability to be active more often in the last year.

From program highlights to impactful community engagement this report provides detailed information on all aspects relating to our organisation for the financial period 2023-24.

Dr. Renae Domaschenz, Co-chair of Disability Sports Australia, emphasised the organization’s efforts over the past year to engage the community and showcase the value of sports participation for people with disabilities.

“DSA continues to advance and enhance the capability of sport to enable participation for people with disabilities. We are optimistic about the sector’s future and see numerous opportunities to shape and champion lives transformed through the power of sport,” she said.

Some of our Highlights for the Year Included:

  • Delivery of 59 Abilities Unleashed events Nationally.
  • 101 Clubs engaged in our Building Inclusive Sports Clubs program in partnership with Victoria University.
  • 4000 participants engaging in our flagship Abilities Unleashed program.
  • Co-delivery of the 2023 Toyota Wheelchair AFL National Championships in partnership with the AFL.
