Find Your Pathway to Disability Sport
Within Australia, numerous sports pathways are available for people with disability. While we recognise that individuals may have multiple disability, this section is tailored to help you connect with the various National Sport Organisations for People with Disability.
The National Sports Organisations for People with Disability (NSODs) are a great starting point for people with disability who want to become more active.
They provide advice, support, and opportunities for people of all ages with specific disabilities.
Disability Sports Australia was previously the peak body for people with physical disability.
Now, we focus on connecting you to the specialist expertise of the other NSODs to help you get moving and enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle.
Our goal is to support your participation in grassroots sport.
This page is organised by different disability sport pathways and sporting interests, making it easier for you to find the right fit for your needs and goals.
On the NSOD websites, you can explore how each organisation can support your journey toward greater physical activity.
If you are a person with disability who is interested in getting involved in para-sport we suggest you connect with Paralympics Australia and check out their Start Line.
