Our programs and partnerships create meaningful opportunities across the country, from first experiences to equipping clubs and coaches with the skills to welcome everyone.
We measure our impact not only in numbers, but in the confidence, connection and joy that sport brings to people with disability and their communities.

Goal 3
We strengthen community wellbeing by creating more opportunities for people with disability to be physically active. Through programs such as Abilities Unleashed and Try Para Sport, we provide thousands of Australians with the chance to experience the physical, mental and social benefits of movement. These opportunities help spark lifelong participation and contribute to healthier, more connected communities.

Goal 4
We provide training and resources that give sporting organisations, coaches and volunteers the knowledge to be inclusive. Online courses such as Accessibility Champion and Building Inclusive Sport Clubs make learning accessible at scale, while our expertise ensures practical application on the ground. By building capability and confidence across the sector, we help create environments where people with disability can participate fully and feel supported.

Goal 10
We design our programs to reduce barriers for people with disability. Guided by our Disability Advisory Committee, lived experience shapes how we work and make decisions. Across all levels of sport, we help normalise disability inclusion and create equal opportunities to participate on and off the field. Campaigns such as Changing Lives Through Sport raise awareness and shift perceptions, closing the participation gap and making sport more representative of our community.

Goal 11
We bring sport to where people live, working with schools, councils and leisure centres we activate local facilities. Often this is during off-peak times ensuring more people can get active in their local community. Through developing the Blacktown Disability Sports Centre in partnership with Blacktown City Council we demonstrate how local investment can increase access.

Goal 17
We collaborate across all levels of sport and community, from grassroots clubs and councils to national organisations, government and corporate partners. By combining expertise and resources we create solutions that no organisation could achieve on its own. These partnerships enable us to expand participation programs, share knowledge across sport and positively decision-making,
Partnerships that grow disability sport
Our impact is possible because of partners. By working with Disability Sports Australia, your organisation helps more people with disability take part in sport and build confidence, connection and wellbeing.
Partnerships give us the resources to expand programs, support coaches and volunteers, and make local sport more accessible.
Together, we can strengthen communities and ensure sport works for every body across Australia.
